Pro Route League – Matchweek 4 Post-Match Review

Matchweek 4 of the Pro Route League delivered excitement across all fixtures—stunning comebacks, individual brilliance, and emphatic scorelines that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Young Antlers FC 4–1 FC Zeus

Young Antlers finally secured their first league win of the season, coming from behind in spectacular fashion.

FC Zeus struck first in the 18th minute when Ogungbenro Mustapha won and converted a penalty, giving his side a 1–0 halftime lead.

The second half belonged to substitute Okoli Testimony, who turned the game around with two goals in the 64th and 66th minutes, both close-range finishes that shifted momentum. Habeeb Busari added a third in the 73rd minute before Hassan Ahmid sealed the victory in stoppage time (90+2’).

For his brace and decisive impact, Okoli Testimony was named Man of the Match, spearheading Young Antlers’ long-awaited breakthrough.

DollyP SA 3–3 Skillz FC

A six-goal thriller saw DollyP and Skillz FC share the spoils in one of the most entertaining clashes of the week.

Kenneth Kasim opened the scoring in the 9th minute from Adaramola John’s brilliant pass. Skillz replied through Abdullahi Nafiu in the 14th minute, before he doubled his tally in the 28th minute from another Abdulraheem Abdulkabir assist.

DollyP equalized shortly after the restart when Ikechukwu Success made it 2–2 in the 48th minute. Abdulraheem Abdulkabir then found the net himself in the 64th, but DollyP fought back again as Winner Ohue converted a stunning long-range free kick in the 72nd minute.

Despite the draw, Ibrahim Adam claimed Man of the Match for his commanding midfield display.

KFA 1–2 La Planet FC

La Planet FC showcased quality and resilience to edge past KFA in a feisty encounter.

Ademola Job put La Planet ahead in the 40th minute with a spectacular scorpion kick, assisted by Akeem Sa’ad. Substitute Habeeb Saka Morrow doubled the advantage six minutes after coming on, capitalizing on KFA’s poor clearance from a free kick.

KFA pulled one back in the 64th minute when Yunusa Muyideen converted a penalty after Adebayo Oluwagbenga fouled Ifeanyi Ikechukwu in the box. Their hopes of a comeback were dashed when Amuda Omotolani was sent off after a second yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct.

La Planet held firm to secure all three points, thanks largely to goalkeeper Oluwagbenga, who produced a masterclass between the sticks with nine crucial saves to earn the Man of the Match award.

Harmony City FA 1–2 Gaa Akanbi FC

It was a tight battle, but Soliu Mohammed’s brace fired Gaa Akanbi past Harmony City.

The visitors struck first in the 30th minute when Egwakhide Samuel’s cross found Soliu, who slotted past the keeper. Harmony equalized just three minutes later through Amidu Sodiq, converting from Adebisi Idris’ perfect cross.

Gaa Akanbi restored their lead when Gigi Amos picked out Soliu Mohammed again, and the striker made no mistake. His decisive brace earned him the Man of the Match award.

City Boys FC 0–5 Ka’ah FC

Ka’ah FC continued their unstoppable run with a ruthless performance, dismantling City Boys.

Ahmed Sodiq opened the scoring in the 24th minute, heading home a long ball from goalkeeper Abass Adelabu. Elegbede Caleb doubled the lead in the 44th minute, nodding in Olowo Shefiullahi’s cross.

After the break, Danjuma John unleashed a thunderous strike from distance to make it 3–0, before Soliu Wasiu added a fourth in the 75th minute. The rout was completed in the 90th minute as Olowo Shefiullahi beat the goalkeeper to score into an empty net.

For his goal and assist, Olowo Shefiullahi was named Man of the Match.

Barrier SC 1–0 House of Prayer (HOPA FA)

Barrier SC secured a narrow but vital victory thanks to a single goal before halftime.

Adam Iliasu had a chance to put HOPA ahead in the 27th minute from the penalty spot, but goalkeeper Babarinde Boluwatife pulled off a superb save.

Moments before the interval, a costly error from Babarinde allowed Qozeem Abdulmajeed to capitalize and score what proved to be the only goal of the match.
